Ethiopia Healthcare Network is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit headquartered in Washington, D.C. Our program began in 2001 as the Ethiopia Clinic mission of Western Presbyterian Church. To support growth and broader partnership, the program reorganized as a non-profit corporation in December 2008. EHN awarded its first grant in October 2009, and established a program office with LeAlem Higher Clinic in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Like other successful non-profits begun by Western (e.g., Miriam’s Kitchen), we anticipate substantial growth and maturation as a charity making a difference on the world stage, providing healthcare to those without access.
